I’m Geert Bauweraerts, a passionate physiotherapist working in Brussels and Leuven.

I studied physiotherapy at the University of Antwerp and graduated in 2005. In 2010, I founded Reactive Leuven, a multidisciplinary physiotherapy center in Leuven, and in 2017, I opened my physiotherapy practice in Brussels.

Because I’m driven by continuous learning and by integrating different insights and techniques, I have developed a holistic treatment approachover the years. I combine orthopaedic medicine (Cyriax), mobilisation and fascial techniques, kinesiology (including the assessment of nutritional supplements), Brain Recovery, massage, reflexology, acupuncture, Ayurveda, mindfulness, and various exercise methods and coaching styles.

Besides treating people, I also aim to motivate them to move and adopt a healthier lifestyle. I maintain a healthy lifestyle myself and proudly support a local boxing club.

I live in Leuven with my wife and our two children. I usually consult in English and Dutch, and I also have a good working knowledge of French.
